West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman hosts CSW 40th LA PRIDE Kick-Off Celebration

CSW LA PRIDE 2010, Los Angeles Pride Month, LA PRIDEWith the sky high views from the roof top of the London West Hollywood Hotel, CSW LA PRIDE held the official kick-off party celebration of LA PRIDE 2010 hosted by West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman on June 2, 2010 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Momma opened the night by welcoming every one to the event and then she introduced West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman. The Mayor of West Hollywood acknowledged key people at the event. Also The Mayor of Manhattan Beach Mitch Ward spoke at CSW LA PRIDE 2010. To end the event Rodney Scott, CSW LA PRIDE 2010 President & Board of Directors thanked everyone at the event and provided PRIDE events and news information. He encouraged them to subscribe to the CSW PRIDE newsletter and become fans of their social media network Facebook.

Some of the CSW Board of Directors, volunteers, politicians, non profit leaders, CSW 2010 Pride honorees and celebrities present were Worthie Meacham aka Momma, West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman, Manhattan Beach Mayor Mitch Ward, Redondo Beach Mayor Mike Gin, Sierra Madre Mayor Joseph Mosca, Irwindale Mayor H. Manuel Ortiz, West Hollywood Council Abbe Land, Sunnie Rose Berger, James Flood, Chris Bradshaw, Brian Putnam, Sam Borelli, Jeffrey Prang, CSW Publicist Stefanie Lees, CSW LA PRIDE 2010 President & Board of Directors Rodney Scott, CSW Board of Directors Jason Roundy,CSW Board of Directors Karina Samala, Ari Ruiz, Bamby Salcedo, Rev. Dr. Neil G. Thomas and Nelson Melegrito. Also recording artist Taylor Dayne attended the event. She was introduced by Claudette Sexy DJ who played the music for the evening.

“The West Hollywood Mayor’s Reception on the Rooftop of the London Hotel was a fantastic kick off to the 40th Anniversary of LA PRIDE and we couldn’t be more pleased with the turn-out.” said Stefanie Lees, CSW Publicist. Ms. Lees concluded “LA PRIDE is open to all citizens. Please join us for this milestone celebration.”

CSW LA PRIDE received three proclamations from the following Mayors from City of Redondo Beach Mike Gin, City of Sierra Madre Joseph Mosca and City of Irwindale H. Manuel Ortiz.
“I think the event was flawless! A perfect and classy way to launch CSW Pride and the 40th Anniversary. I know the CSW team has worked hard at this and all the other Pride events and I’m more than certain none will disappoint!” said Sunnie Rose Berger, The Life Group LA Executive Director.

The West Hollywood London Hotel provided a variety of cocktails and included some food bites for every one. Per CSW Publicist there were over 300 people in attendance. Napster, LLC

The 40th Anniversary of LA PRIDE will be held in the city of West Hollywood from June 11 through June 13, 2010.
