peppermMore then 1000 people were at the Pre Oscar Party and Anniversary Celebration held by David Harrison Levi. The place was full of lots of people who wanted to meet, celebrate and network with industry shakers and makers. It was hard to walk inside the venue, and the line for the red carpet was very long, but celebrities did not care about it because they wanted to be photographed and interviewed.

“The event was entertaining, and Life is an upscale, remarkable club! Great night with great friends.” said DeeDee Bigelow, Actress/Producer.

In an email dated 3-4-2010 to his Facebook friends, Davi Harrison Levi thanked all the media, photographers and all the musicians who performed on the day of the event. Some of the people that he mentioned were Stephen Baldwin, Estelle Harris (Seinfeld), Skip E. Lowe (TV Host) , Jaira Valenti, Tamara Wentworth, Cher Rue, Lee Lang and Seth Donavan. He also thanked his musical guest artists and bands: David Williams, Lyric, SpaceMonk, Natalia Flores, D ‘London, Kate Campbell, Thomas King, Larry Willard, Dian Wilson, Leona, Valerie from the Philippines, Smitty, Pepper Mashay, Wency Marjorie, MOI, Jamie Meyer, Tatiana Nicole Del Toro (from American Idol Season 8), the Adam Lasher Band, Minna Valance & Martin Gerschwitz.

“With all the events I have attended and hosted, this was the most organized and I feel the most successful. We had a great team that worked hard to put together the event, an amazing group of artists that performed live, celebrity guests, a slew of press and media, and most importantly, A large group of people that came out to support the event and the cause. I could not have been more proud of how the event went, and look forward to working with David Harrison Levi again on the carpet.” said Seth Donavan, Actor/Red Carpet Host.

The place was filled up to the max, possibly because people knew that this kind of event would enable them to make lots of connections for their carreer. Also, they wanted to hear their favorite artists performing such as MOI, SpaceMonk, Smitty, Tatiana Nicole Del Toro, the Adam Lasher Band, and the international dance diva Pepper MaShay. The red carpet talent, celebrities and media representatives were handled by Cher Rue, Jaira Valenti and Tamara Wentworth.

Life is a very classy and elegant environment to hold a party. Everywhere you looked you could find a cluster of people mingling and making connections, while listening to some great performers. The performers of the night were pretty spectacular people. Kathy Buckley opened up the evening with a humorous stand up bit. She was very funny yelling all the people that were talking over her comedy routine. She is known most for being the very first female hearing-impaired comedienne. She just finished at Cesar’s Palace and was kind enough to support Jeremiah’s cause. Along with Kathy, came Geri Jewell. You may remember her from Deadwood and back in the day as Blair’s cousin on Facts of Life. Next a wonderful new musical artist name Lyric performed one of his new songs, “Addicted to you.” Next up, was ex playboy model and now recording artist Iliana Fischer. She performed two beautiful songs off of her newly released cd “Caliente.” After Iliana, was the awesome band “No Boundaries.” This band is unique in the fact that the members are all handicapped in some fashion. They have performed as far as China, and most of the time can be found at an Easter Seals, or Special Olympics event. MOI was the highlight of the evening. The lead singer and guitarist Moi Navarro has a voice and is not afraid to show it. He mesmerized us with his new single “Superman.”

The sponsors came out to help support the cause as well. “The Cougar and the Kitten”, CC Perkinson and Jennifer Tapiero, were on the scene looking stunningly. The owners of Plaisir, Daniel Salva and Philippe Dray, came out to see how everyone was enjoying their tasty treats. Their delectable shop can be found at 8613 Santa Monica Blvd. West Hollywood, Ca 90069. www.Plaisir-La.com
